vending_machine

in the gymnasium of my high school, there is a classic vending machine. i remember the first time seeing it, it finally hit me that i have arrived in the US of A. the classic dark wood panel and robust coin slot. inside the machine is a selection of the classic american snacks we all know and love. having spent the few last years of my studying in the US, the vending machine and the enviornment it is in, is almost always overlooked. and i think that is a shame. it is sometimes the details that makes that scene in my head so convincing.
